Will Ryman, The Bed (2007).
Currently on view at Saatchi, Will Ryman’s The Bed succeeds where Tracy Emin could not, portraying a character of anomalous proportions either basking in a nest of hedonism or marinading in a quagmire of self-loathing. Regardless, the effort here is apparent and the effect is quite amusing.
