Animal Collective — Brothersport
Their new album, Merriweather Post Pavilion, just leaked and it’s exactly what we need after the hectic holiday season. Laden with handclaps and sweet melodies that invoke the purest beachfront tropicalia, after one listen I was yearning for tiny shorts and blistering July sunshine. There’s even a track called Summertime Clothes! Also, check out the psychedelic album art above. I was certain it was animated, but if you focus on just one section it stops moving.
