I’m Tumblr-ing stoveside today, taking a break from the art world to embrace my culinary heritage, aka making matzo ball soup and apple latkes from scratch. This morning I ventured to the Fresh Market to procure the most gorgeous free range, organic bird imaginable. The butcher assured me it had been clucking around on the happiest little farm up until the very moment of its humane slaughter. I had to laugh at that. A lot.
While I was browsing the dairy section for Greek yogurt, I came across the pot of deliciousness you see above. It’s like ice cream, sour cream and fruit, all blended into one. Absolutely delicious and made without any impurities, from the milk of cows who live better than we do. A perfect treat for the health nut, food snob or Icelandophile in your life.
