I remember first hearing of Burden, and then directly after learning of the true extent that Duchamp went to with his art. (bewithyou)
Great find; I know this only because in the documentary on Bas Jan Ader the story is told that once he worked in America, he had this idea of being shot in the leg for art, but then he heard somebody else had already been shot for art, so he did not want to do it any more.
