My first exposure to Raven’s work were the visuals she did for Björk’s Medúlla album, which consisted of knitted and woven hair pieces that had quite a sculptural/architectural feel to them. After their collaboration, she took the idea a lot further with these gorgeous wallpapers and wall murals.
I remember reading something a while ago about some these pieces being used in a group show about athletics, sponsored by Nike. I can’t imagine how they fit in.
