Oh, Carlos.

Art.
Life.
Whatever.

Monica Bonvicini, Built for Crime (2006).
Monica Bonvicini creates works of art that unmask the latent emotions conjured by the spaces in which they are placed. She is perhaps most well-known for placing a one way glass toilet cubicle outside the Tate Britain in a piece called Don’t Miss a Sec. I personally would have loved to experience the thrill of attempting to stand upright in the pitch black, empty gallery she famously turned into a wind tunnel with beyond-industrial strength fans. I really admire how she, like Eliasson and many others, tries to find ways to involve the viewer in her work.
