Oh, Carlos.

Art.
Life.
Whatever.

Chris Berens, Hyena (2006).
Chris Berens uses a multitude of media including acrylic, varnish, old photographs and wallpaper to create hazy, heavenly landscapes through which the viewer is led by certain familiars, usually in the form of arctic beasts, mysterious Madonnas and lost children. He often claims his work is over-analyzed, and it’s true that the paintings don’t convey any specific message, but are rather a culmination of feelings, recollections and images that result in a mysterious world Berens says he’s envisioned since childhood.
Oddly enough, I found this piece on a website all about hyena art.
