Good Morning (teaser) — by Kanye West
Directed by Takashi Murakami & Kaikai Kiki.
I forget why exactly this video was made (I don’t think it was for any specific promo because it was never released), but Murakami and Kaikai Kiki debuted it at the gala for the MOCA opening of his exhibit in LA last year— unfortunately they did not play the video at his New York opening. It essentially serves as an animated counterpart to the CD jacket (or digipack if you will) that Murakami did for the Graduation album.
There’s a low quality version of the entire video up on YouTube, but you can buy the hi-quality one on iTunes* too.
I had wanted to see this video for a while, so I’m glad it’s finally out in the open.
