In his directorial debut, Lucas has artfully spliced together two videos from a time long passed. The first was taken in summer 2005, with Shannon inundating us with stories of her high school years, the morning after a night of revelry. The second, from summer 2006, features yours truly at, quite possibly, my most intoxicated, re-creating Lenny Kravitz’s unforgettable cover of “American Woman.” It’s all tied together with a surprise 2008 climax.
