Björk — Wanderlust
Even though this video premiered just today, it’s already one of my favorite music videos of all time. Directed by Encyclopedia Pictura, it comes in three versions: the 2D version shown here, a 3D version (to view with traditional red and blue glasses) and a 3D version meant to be projected large-scale, IMAX-style and viewed with polarized 3D glasses. All of the yaks were handmade by EP’s design team, hand painted and had real actors inside them. A special computer program was written by the post production team to make the water flow with the beat of the song and interact with everything that came in contact with it. Personal highlights for me were the Björk/painbody acrobatics and the fact that the yaks have eye boogers.
