Immaterial Installations: Paul Chan “paints” using moving shadows projected onto gallery walls and floors at different speeds. His subject matter is rather esoteric and varies from ghost ships to bodies jumping from the World Trade Center, Spanish Conquistadors fighting Native Latin Americans in the 16th century to planes dropping bombs on villages and AK47s whimsically floating by like leaves in the wind.
